U.S. News released its 2026 Best Graduate Schools Programs rankings on Tuesday, and Yale University and the University of Connecticut represented the state multiple times, securing high spots in the Top 50 in various graduate program areas.

More than a dozen UNLV graduate programs ranked among the top 100 in their respective disciplines in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Graduate Schools rankings released today.

The University of Kansas’ graduate programs in paleontology and special education maintained their top rankings in the country, but a government management program that had been No. 1 for more than 25 years fell a couple of spots.
